I created floodandthrow.com to share my personal experience with outdoor gear. I’m lucky enough to have hunting, fishing, mountain biking and other outdoor activities literally out my back door. The only problem I have is there isn’t enough time in a day to do them all. Almost everything I write about and review I’ve used and photographed myself. If I don’t own it or haven’t used it I’ll tell you.
My goal for floodandthrow.com
My goal is to help you determine if you want to shell out your hard earned money for a new piece of gear. That’s it. Plain and simple. My hope is that these reviews and informational blog posts will help you make a more informed buying decision.
How I evaluate gear
When I evaluate something I look first and foremost for quality and usability. Does it do what it’s supposed to do, is it easy to use, does it feel like good quality for the money spent. I really concentrate on the ease of use factor, comfort, features, value, and functionality and then ask myself “would I buy it again?”
If I don’t like something I’ll tell you that too. Then you can determine if the problem I pointed out is a deal breaker for you.
Feel free to ask me a question…
If you have any questions about anything I write about, don’t hesitate to ask me a question. I’ll do my best to answer it as quickly as possible. I don’t do social media, so I don’t have a facebook page or twitter account. I do have a Pinterest account where I post pin additional photos of my flashlights. Just visit my Contact Us page and send me an email.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy the reviews and photos.
